Dates are announced for Cass Summer exhibitions

The Cass Summer exhibitions will take place between the 13th June and the 5th July 2013. With over 1000 students exhibiting, at one of the largest showcases of graduate talent in London.
The Schools of Art and Design will exhibit at Central House from the 14th to 23rd June, starting with a Private View on the 13th June from 6pm to 9pm. Disciplines represented will include Animation, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior Design, Music Technology, Musical Instruments Silversmithing and Jewellery, Photography, Textile Design, Silversmithing and Jewellery. During this period, students from the BA (Hons) Film and Broadcast Production course will show their graduation films at the National Film Theatre on the 17th June from 2pm to 5pm.
The School of Architecture Show will then run from the 26th June to the 5th July, with the Private View taking place on Tuesday the 25th June from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. The exhibition brings together Architectural work from the school’s undergraduate studios and postgraduate units.
In parallel with the Art and Design Show (14- 23 June) there will be an exhibition at our Commercial Road building of work from our short and professional development courses area.
In advance of the show at Central House there will be separte exhibition of work from the Foundation Year (Extended Degree Art, Media and Design) on the Second Floor of Central House from the 4th to the 9th June. There will also be a host of other events over the period including a business forum, FE College staff day and student awards ceremonies.
On Saturday the 15th, Propspective students will be able to attend a University Open event which will include tours for Art and Design students to Central House. Book Here
The School offers practical courses preparing graduates to work as artists; in film, television and animation and music technology. You are taught to the highest standards by artists and professional practitioners. Students develop technical skills through practical projects in a professional studio context and build the networking experience key to success through industry engagement. Artists learn among a diverse mix of critical, articulate and prolific students with excellent access to photography, digital media, print, painting and sculpture workshops. Media Production and Music students work on live projects for clients and our in-house television station Cass TV.

Graduates go on to work as architects,architectural assistants, interior designers or in related fields such as research, journalism and procurement. We enjoy close links with the people and organisations that shape London. Our Live Projects happen locally and around the world in places such as Cuba, India, China and Iran
